Overview
Join our team for an adventure through the mysterious and rugged Superstition Mountains. Our experienced guides will lead you through a wide variety of terrains including ancient volcanic lava fields, rugged granite canyons and towering desert peaks.
We depart the confines of civilization at the trailhead in the shadows of the iconic Superstition Flatiron. Hiking past Miner’s needle and on into the amazing Boulder Canyon we drop our packs and set up for a spectacular light show provided by the night sky. A wonderful dinner prepared with the assistance of our guides and everyone will be ready to turn in. Don’t Worry! Our high quality tents and gear will keep everyone warm and comfy.

Activities
This trip is rated Moderate Plus. Participants will be carrying
their own backpacks weighing 35 to 40lbs distances of 5 to 7 miles daily over varied terrain. To maximize your enjoyment of your outing, we strongly recommend participants be involved in a training regimen prior to the outing. Most important to your enjoyment of the trip is your overall fitness level.

The next morning after a light breakfast and a cup of coffee it’s time to hit the trail again. Continuing through Boulder Canyon we enjoy numerous challenging climbs and amazing panoramic views, perfect for Instagram, before our final ascent and first spectacular view of Canyon Lake.

A short descent to the lake and our group of weary adventurers will board the Dolly Steamboat where we will recharge with a delicious lunch and refreshments while enjoying a narrated tour of the lake. After lunch and tour concludes, the group will board the bus back home with memories that will last a lifetime.
